Australian Museum Egyptian Collection Throwing Sticks

In 1910, Gaston Maspero (1846-1916), a French Egyptologist who was still developing and overseeing the Cairo Museum, sent two Egyptian throwing sticks to the Australian Museum. These sticks are from the site of Gourna (Qurna) village on the west bank, opposite the modern city of Luxor, and believed to be from the 18th Dynasty (1550-1292 BCE).

Yea he made it. Don’t get me wrong the point was well made but the hafting sucked Other points made in the Kimberly used a similar hafting method but it was more like resin caked somewhat around the base not a brown tennis ball on a stick Like it would be a better whacking weapon to fuck with my friends than to hunt anything
